I wish I could have asked for my money back because I was extremely unsatisfied with my order.Richmond could do without this new cheesesteak place on 1517 West Broad Street. It tasted nothing like a Philly cheesesteak I’ve ever eaten. The meat was really dry even with the toppings that I added. The original they offer comes with ketchup for some reason. I just can’t imagine how disgusting that may be.

Don’t expect a traditional Philly that you would order in Philadelphia. They don’t offer the cheese wiz on their subs, just American and Provolone.

The inside looks like it was a happening bar at one time. It looks like a complete dive when the lights are on.

I can no longer think of this place while my stomach is still settling.

5 reasons to hate the South

If you were born in the South, you may have not noticed how ridiculous this culture is.1. This place is extremely religious

These fools purposely show their love for religion and God, something that does not exist. They flaunt their beliefs with decorative license plates and bumper stickers. Take a note from me, no one cares. Believe in yourself and not some fake scripture and keep your beliefs to yourself.

2. How slow can you go?

You walk, talk and think slow. Can you people not pick up the pace? For instance, go to any store and tell me how long it takes for the person to ring you up. Do your job and move your limbs faster and pay attention to the customer and not your fellow employees. I seriously lose a few hours a week due to how slow people move here.

3. Do What? When a southern doens’t understand you, they respond with “Do What Now”?

How baffling is this response? I never asked the guy to do anything. Why is he asking me this? This is constant phrase the just makes absolutely no sense. If i wanted to ask you to do something, I’d say do your self a favor and hang yourself.

4. The constant use of Y’all

You say it all the time, no matter the situation. You can walk in a store and someone will say “How y’all doing? Ummm, do you see more than one person with me?

5. Please stop being fake!

Can you people just be honest and speak your mind. Why do you have to lie about your feelings? If I ask you if you like something, tell me the truth. Say what you mean and do what you say.

Stayed tuned for reasons, 6-10.

The little Indian eatery on 1201 West Main Street has opened. They seemed to keep all the appliances and some furniture from Fat Larry’s and painted the walls a dark brown. They also kept the cash register that has an E-Town Concrete sticker on it, which I was I owned.

I don’t really know much about Indian food except that it bursts with flavor. If I can’t decide what I really want to eat, I can always try some Indian.

They offer a quick lunch box where you select your items out of a buffet style presentation. It includes one non-vegetarian, two vegetarian, naan,, rice pulao, riata and salad. It was quite tasty and I did leave the place with a full stomach.

They have a complete full menu if you don’t like the lunch box. The menu is consistent with other Indian restaurants.

I’ll most likely go back and try some new things when I get bored with American food.

Welcome to the neighborhood, my Indian friends.

The Grand Opening is sneaking up on us. This new theater is located at the new Boulevard SquareThis is an exciting location for me. It steers clear of all the snobs and traffic around the other theaters.

The pictures of the place look amazing. I may actually go back to a movie theater. I’ve had no reason to go to once since I have an awesome system at my house. I think the last movie I saw in theaters was “Snakes on a Plane” for the midnight opening.

I registered to play and win on Xbox Live at the end of August and I won this console.I’m planning to put this on ebay since I believe this is the only console made. They only gave one console away for the first place winner and I can’t find any other limited editions consoles. Now I just need to find a Brett Favre / Packers fan who would die for this console. I’ve seen the Mountain Dew console go for around a thousand dollars.

ZZZzzzzZZZZI was able to listen to the newest syndicated show in Richmond this morning for about forty minutes. I was extremely bored and I didn’t laugh once. He went over his background a little which was interesting but the rest of what I heard was lackluster.

I’ll keep listening but I’m used to the quick short bursts of wit that I’ve become to love from the Morning Sludge. Maybe my drive home will be a little more fun.

Tony's is the new restaurant that replaced the 4th Street Cafe (which was a dump). The first time I went I was very impressed at the overhaul they have given the place. It was such a refreshing look compared to the shit hole previously.

I ordered the Italian sub to go. I was impressed by the weight of the box and knew I would have a fulfilling lunch. It was so much that i had the rest of the sandwich for dinner.

The sub was supposed to be hot but they served it cold for some reason. Other than that, it was worth the price and the fries were tasteful. They threw in a couple small deserts. A little lime tangy thing and a brownie. A nice addition to finish up the meal.

I decided to go back and this time I ordered the half pound burger. The best part was it came with fresh sauteed mushrooms and plenty of fries. I think it may be a little overpriced for the burger though. It almost came to ten dollars just for burger and fries. I really won’t complain because you do get large portions.

I’d be happy to go back since i work around the corner from Tony’s 4th Street Grill.
