Ruchee Express replaces Fat Larry’s

The little Indian eatery on 1201 West Main Street has opened.
They seemed to keep all the appliances and some furniture from Fat Larry’s and painted the walls a dark brown. They also kept the cash register that has an E-Town Concrete sticker on it, which I was I owned.
I don’t really know much about Indian food except that it bursts with flavor. If I can’t decide what I really want to eat, I can always try some Indian.
They offer a quick lunch box where you select your items out of a buffet style presentation. It includes one non-vegetarian, two vegetarian, naan,, rice pulao, riata and salad. It was quite tasty and I did leave the place with a full stomach.
They have a complete full menu if you don’t like the lunch box. The menu is consistent with other Indian restaurants.
I’ll most likely go back and try some new things when I get bored with American food.
Welcome to the neighborhood, my Indian friends.
