it’s probably too late to tell you this but try shopping at Food lion, i’ve been able to pick up some Sabretts there just to try and it’s a nasty hot dog. The texture reminds me of a cross between powdered eggs and Vienna sausages. Nathan’s is the best. I think too many New Yorkers grew up on Sabrett hot dogs and that’s how it became #1. And it’s on every corner because the vendors are probably making lots of profit. And who cares if a hot dog snaps, it’s suppose to be meat not a fresh vegetable like a cucumber.
